Keep Your F.R.O.G. With You!

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:7 (KJV)

These are troubling days with so, so many things to worry about. We may be worried about finances or paying our mortgage, keeping our family safe from burglars, making sure our children have a good education, or we may have serious health problems. We may have marriage problems; perhaps we recently lost a loved one or have been made redundant. How can we have peace when life is full of trials and worry?

The answer is to keep your F.R.O.G. with you! That is–Fully Rely On God.

Jesus said to take no anxious thought about things you cannot do anything about (Matthew 6:25-33), and to trust God who can clothe the lilies with greater beauty than anything we could make. We can put our faith in God to give us this peace, and we can find true joy like Paul (Philippians 4:11-13) in whatever situation we find ourselves in.

Let’s pray that beautiful prayer–“God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.”
