Grace Communion UK & Ireland strive to provide their members with the tools to be able to evangelise effectively in the modern world. These tools will enable us to evangelise internationally, with Jesus ‘the Word’ relatable now and forever. ‘Word of Life’ will be a medium that is shareable in the digital world. It will be shared on the internet and through social media channels to evangelise to the world. This will link directly back to Grace Communion, to build belonging within our fellowship and believers in the Triune God, and in our identity in Jesus.
The gospel declares that because of Christ, all people are loved, forgiven and accepted by God—we all belong (Ephesians 1:4-6). ‘Word of Life’ has been created to focus that belonging of our members also within Grace Communion International, and to underline that our members and believers are valued and loved.
‘Word of Life’ creates opportunity to strengthen the belonging of Grace Communion members and to shine a light in the daily lives of believers around the world.
As an organisation Grace Communion International (GCI) has mission at its heart and therefore looks to provide the tools that have their foundation in our Trinitarian Theology, and through ‘Word of Life’ to evangelise and declare our faith. Our values in these studies are therefore created around Grace Communion International Evangelising (GCIE). These values are exemplified by,
- Grace – all aspects of sharing the word are to be Grace led
- Clarity – help to give clarity to the word by sharing relatable experiences and themes from the heart
- Inspiring – to create pieces that inspire others to live and share the word
- Encouragement – to provide hope to those in need
We believe that providing Christ centred articles that demonstrate grace, love, and forgiveness, ‘agape’ in its full wider context, is the key to evangelising. Articles will display merciful grace over law while walking in the faith in a challenging world.
Whilst we strive to show our identity in Jesus, with ‘Word of Life’ we also invite the Holy Spirit to draw our identity firmly and unmistakably from Jesus. Everything is in the name of Jesus and the unity of the Trinity – a unity we can aspire to within GCI here on earth. The articles that our members supply is centred on scripture, on subjects of experience and interest which are relatable to other members and believers and will provide inspiration, clarity, encouragement.
