Nicholas Vujicic

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

Recently I had the privilege of watching a video of a young man, originally from Australia, who was born without arms and legs. His name is Nick Vujicic (pronounced Voo-yee-cheech) and he has been an amazing inspiration to millions of people around the world with his zest for life. Although minus his limbs he can perform many household tasks and engage in various sports and hobbies.

This articulate and dynamic young evangelist has achieved more with his life than most people would achieve in a lifetime. He once said that if God can use a man without arms and legs to be His hands and feet, then He will certainly use any willing heart. Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NIV) tells us, “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”

God is actively looking for ordinary people like you and me to partner with Him in His great commission to help change lives for His kingdom. Are we willing to take up the challenge?

Prayer
Lord, help us not to make excuses for not following you as best we can.  As we look at what others less able have achieved, help us to take courage and give our all.
Amen
